With its warm, sub-tropical climate, Florida is a coveted, year-round vacation destination. In Orlando, the heart of the “Sunshine State”, the average annual temperature is a comfortable 72.4°. Spring (March-May)

Temperatures in Florida are in the upper 80’s and lows possible in the 50’s. There is plenty of sunshine. Spring rain showers are common. You should be comfortable in swimwear, light clothing (shorts) for the day and sweaters for the cooler evenings.

 

Summer (June- September)

Daily temperatures are typically in the 90’s. Thunderstorms are possible in late afternoon, but usually only last for an hour and can be refreshing. Remember to use plenty of sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Freeze a few bottles of water overnight in your kitchen at Orlando Hideaway and they’ll be nice and cold when you need a refreshing drink.

 

Autumn (October – December)

There is plenty of Florida sunshine during these autumn months. Highs are usually in the 80’s and lows are in the 60’s. This weather is ideal for those not wanting the extreme heat of the summer months.

 

Winter (December – February)

Temperatures can be in the 70’s during the day and in the mid 50’s in the evenings. You will need swimwear and light clothing, but will also need a light jacket for cooler evenings.
